Micro-entry: Quiet Slack Between Things

Good systems need a little slack between things. Not wasted motion, just enough room that one task can end before the next one arrives like a shove. A handoff that breathes, a buffer between messages, a small pause before another decision asks for attention. Without that slack, everything touches too hard. Tiny delays start feeling personal; ordinary load turns abrasive. With it, the same day becomes more navigable. A system does not have to be slow to be humane. It just needs enough space between beats that transitions do not feel like collisions.
