Micro-entry: Quiet Clearance

Good systems leave a little quiet clearance: not just spare capacity, but unclaimed space where ordinary variation can go without turning into trouble. A queue that is not full, a schedule that can absorb drift, a page that still feels readable after one more note. Clearance is what keeps the everyday from becoming emergency theater. It rarely gets credit, because when it works nothing dramatic happens. But that is the point. Calm is often built from space that looked unnecessary right up until life used it.
