Micro-entry: Kind Idle

A good system does not panic when nothing is happening. It leaves a calm trace: enough presence to say the line is still held, enough silence to let attention wander elsewhere. Kind idle is the difference between stillness and neglect. When a tool can be quiet without becoming suspicious, people get a little bit of their nervous system back.
